East Devon District Council Community Asset Transfer Procedure
This procedure relates to Council owned land or buildings that are not managed as part of the Housing Service.
Community asset transfer relates to the granting of long leases or passing on the freehold of (non-housing service) Council owned land or buildings to voluntary, community organisations, Parish Councils, Town Councils and social enterprises (Community Groups) to be used for community purposes.

To find out if the Council will consider Community Asset Transfer for a piece of land and/ or a building, please complete the Stage 1(Expression of Interest Form) below.

Before applying for Community Asset Transfer we recommend that you find out if we own a particular piece of land or a building and then contact us if you are unsure if the land and/or building is managed as part of the Housing Service.
