4. When will I get my Housing Benefit payment?
If you are a private tenant, your Housing Benefit is paid four weeks in arrears, 13 times per year. Payments will be in your bank account by close of business on a Wednesday. A payment calendar is shown on the continuation page of our decision letters.
If you rent a property from us, your Housing Benefit will be paid direct to your rent account.
