1. Purpose of the partnership policy
We encourage partnership working wherever appropriate but we are anxious to see partnerships being managed and reviewed to ensure that they are productive, purposeful and meet the council’s requirements.
This policy provides the approved definition of partnership working as opposed to joint or contractual working arrangements. It also outlines the criteria for the council entering into or establishing a partnership.
