Nathan is responsible for delivering the practical habitat management on five of the council’s local nature reserves and three community nature reserves. His job involves managing a diverse portfolio of sites including woodland, heathland and wildflower meadows, working to improve these sites for both wildlife and people. As part of this work Nathan regularly leads two volunteer groups that help with a range of conservation tasks on the nature reserves. Nathan's role also includes varied project work; promoting access to the countryside, community involvement, biodiversity and sustainable land management.
