Most Thursdays, under the guidance of our countryside rangers, the group helps with practical site management, contributing to the conservation of the district's fantastic wildlife and habitats.

Volunteers have the opportunity to develop new practical skills and an understanding of habitat management techniques. Working across a range of habitats, there's the opportunity to get involved with a variety of tasks throughout the year including scrub clearance, coppicing, tree thinning, hedgelaying, wildlife surveys and control of invasive species.

All welcome and no previous experience necessary. Just come along and get stuck in!
