Sugar Smart works to increase choice through food availability and reduce aggressive promotion of unhealthy foods. There are many ways to become Sugar Smart. Sugar Smart Exeter / Sugar Smart Devon are responding locally to this national initiative. They are asking businesses and organisations to make it easier for people in Devon to access healthier choices.
Local organisations have already demonstrated their commitment and show how easy it can be to make a difference, including Exeter City Football Club, LED, Devon Norse, Fit Food and others. East Devon District Council has pledged to take actions supporting Sugar Smart.
