Exercise made easy! Did you know that walking briskly and continuously for just 10 minutes counts as exercise? It's probably easier than you think to fit 10 minutes into your day.

Active 10 aims to encourage mid-age adults to walk briskly for 10-30 minutes each day. Whether we are walking to work, or with friends at lunchtime, to the shops or taking the dog for a walk, there are lots of ways to fit ten minutes of brisk walking into our life.

This NHS Better Health campaign features a free app that can be downloaded onto smartphones, encouraging us to fit one or more 10-minute brisk walks into our normal day. It monitors and logs walking activity, and encourages the user to achieve walking goals.
