Recycling, food waste and grey waste bin collections have returned to normal now that the conditions are safe enough for our collection vehicles to operate and staff to collect bins from the kerbside.
While collections continue as usual, our contractors will be catching up with Monday’s (March 19) missed waste collections. We’re asking residents whose waste was due to be collected on Monday to please leave your bin at its usual collection point and it will be collected this week. If your recycling and food waste was due for collection on Monday please take it in and put it out next Monday (March 26) for collection. Please remember you can put your excess recycling in carrier bags or a sturdy box.
For residents unaffected by the disruption to collections, please put out your recycling, food waste and waste on your normal day. If it has not been collected by the end of the day, please leave it there and it will be picked up as soon as possible. We expect to have caught up on collections by Saturday.
Many thanks for your patience.
