How to apply
If you want to change the details of your street trading consent we will need to approve this first. You can apply online.
You may need to change the details of your licence if:
- the consent holder changes their name or contact details
- there are changes to the consent or how you want to operate that you need to tell us about
You can also use this application if you want to surrender your consent
You will need to pay a fee to change the details of your consent. Please make sure you are aware of how much this will cost.

You will need a credit or debit card if paying online
Once all documents have been checked a new street trading consent will either be issued (and you will receive this in the post) or it may be refused.
If your consent is likely to be refused we will contact you.
If you are surrendering your consent this will take effect immediately and you won't be able to carry out the street trading.
What you can do if you haven't heard from us
If after two weeks you haven't heard from us please contact us by email or telephone for an update.
What you can do if your application is unsuccessful
Please contact us to discuss why you have been refused a consent.
If you want to surrender your consent you can write to us or email us to tell us this.
If you want to make changes to your consent you can write to us explaining the changes. You will need to send a cheque for the fee made payable to East Devon District Council.
