But overnight stays will continue to be outlawed
A ban on motor-homes and camper-vans parking in EDDC car parks is being eased with effect from Thursday 19 March.
These vehicles may now park in the district council’s car parks during the daytime – but the ban on overnight parking of these vehicles remains in place.
East Devon District Council hopes that owners of these vehicles will choose to park in larger car parks for greater ease of access. But all district council car parks can now be used – although drivers of larger vans are reminded that if their vehicle takes up two car spaces, they must pay for two spaces.
Parking will be allowed between 8 in the morning and 10 at night but overnight parking of these vehicles will continue to be prohibited.
