This annual event has become a real fixture in the East Devon calendar, and is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to get out in the open air, and enjoy the magnificent setting of this ancient woodland and England's 1000th Nature Reserve. The Trust is also looking to resurrect a ‘Friends initiative’, details of which will be available on the day.

East Devon Countryside Team Leader, Tim Dafforn said:

Bluebell Day is a fantastic opportunity for local residents and visitors to explore Holyford Woods. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to this special site, one which we manage throughout the year for the benefit of people and wildlife.

Visitors are encouraged to walk to the site. Anyone planning on driving should park at Colyford Memorial Hall where a free shuttle bus will be running to and from Holyford Farm.

If that gets full then there will be overflow parking at Colyton Grammar School. There is no vehicular access to Holyford Farm on the day.
