EDDC are planning an exciting programme of summer activities

Discover Art, Theatre and the Outdoors in East Devon this summer

Whether you enjoy art, theatre or exploring the great outdoors there is something for everyone to enjoy in East Devon this summer.

The THG in the centre of Honiton is the perfect place for art lovers and enthusiastic families. The public art galley displays a variety of exhibitions, with artwork from locally and nationally renowned artists. This summer bring your family to the gallery to try a workshop in leaf printing, bead crafts, collage and more!

The gallery has a shop, refreshments area and a brand new community garden which is the perfect place to relax on a summer’s day. The Manor Pavilion Theatre in Sidmouth is showing 12 great plays in 12 weeks during the summer. Performances are directed by award-winning Paul Taylor Mills Ltd. Enjoy a evening in this intimate cultural venue from June 23 to September 23. In the Autumn there is a programme packed-full of shows to suit all tastes.

The EDDC Countryside team manages 10 nature reserves across East Devon which are open to the public at all times and are free to visit. Throughout the summer there are events for the whole family across the region, from Outdoor Theatre in Exmouth to Campfire Crafts at Honiton Bottom, there is plenty to choose from!
