A neighbourhood planning referendum will be held for the Exmouth Neighbourhood Development Plan on 21 March 2019. The question in the referendum will be:
"Do you want East Devon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Exmouth to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"

Exmouth Town Council have accepted and incorporated the Examiner's proposed modifications into their plan. The updated Referendum Version of the Exmouth Neighbourhood Plan is available to view.
Jill Kingaby has now completed the examination of the Exmouth Neighbourhood Plan (which commenced on 24 October 2018). The Examiner's Final Report is available to view.

Neighbourhood Area Designation
Exmouth Town Council requested that their parish be designated as a neighbourhood area . The designation was approved on the 30 June 2015.
