Giant 3D knitted garden exhibition
This knitted and crocheted 3D garden created by over 5,000 volunteers comes to THG as part of a national tour.
An intergenerational community knitting and crochet project, it initially climbed, creeped and blossomed over three floors of Bournemouth Library. The garden has also featured on the BBC's The One Show.
THG will be running activities to add further knitted/crocheted pieces so it continues to ‘grow’ like a real garden. There will also be coordinating activities to produce work inspired by the project.
Open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am - 5pm.
Join us for a garden party on Friday 19 May, 5-9 pm to celebrate a year of our very own community garden - part of the national Museums At Night festival.
