Feature Making dreams come true with our Small Community Grant

In the final feedback report of the 2022 season, let us introduce Dream-A-Way.

Dream-A-Way are a charity helping to make dreams come true for Devon’s children and adults with disabilities or life affecting health conditions.

They offer very low-cost static caravan holidays to people with disabilities, terminally ill people, people with cancer and people with other life limiting conditions who would otherwise not be able to afford to get away.

They are run entirely by unpaid volunteers and thus are heavily reliant on community funding. When they approached us in March 2022, we were delighted to award them with a Small Community Grant of £500.

With the funding, the team at Dream-A-Way purchased new static caravan equipment and bedding (and quite a lot of it, as the image below shows!)

They have wished us a huge thanks from all their guests for helping to make precious memories that will last a lifetime.

We are honoured to be able to support community-led projects like Dream-A-Way and we look forward to working with others very soon.
