An exhibition of work by members of the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts

Academicians and Associate Members of the South West Academy mark the start of their 20th Anniversary celebrations in 2020 with this Winter Exhibition.

The exhibition will feature new works and include original paintings, sculpture, limited edition prints and ceramics.  All of the work is for sale and a catalogue will accompany the exhibition.

The South West Academy is a registered charity dedicated to advancing the creation and appreciation of art in the South West region. Baroness Floella Benjamin OBE DL is Patron of the Academy.

Please join us for the exhibition opening on Saturday 11 January at 3pm. Artist Philip Clayton will give a tour and talk about the exhibition at 2pm.

Exhibition open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm.

A new programme of workshops and taster sessions in different media accompanies this exhibition:

24, 31 Jan, 7 Feb (3 week course) 4.30-6.30pm, Experimental and expressive acrylics with SWAc artist Phil Creek£60 (£55 THG Friends) incl materials

28 Jan, 11am- 3pm, Wet on Wet Watercolour Workshop with SWAc artist Vin Jelly £20 (£18 THG Friends) 

30 January, 1.30-3.00pm Early years workshop. Drop in for a fun creative session for babies and toddlers. Free.

1 Feb 10.30 – 12.30 or 1.30 – 3.30 Comic Book workshops with SWAc artist Jed Falby. £10 (£8 THG Friends) Ages 11+ yrs
