6. Apply for 2022/23 Retail, Hospitality & Leisure Rates relief

The 2022/23 Retail, Hospitality & Leisure Rates relief scheme provides eligible, occupied, retail, hospitality & leisure properties that are visited by members of the public, with 50% rates relief, up to a cash limit of £110,000 per business.

Your Business Rates account/bill number.

If you have already been awarded the retail discount for 2020/21 the relief will automatically be awarded again in 2021/22 for the first 3 months (1 April 2021 to 30 June 2021), provided you continue to meet the qualifying criteria.

The “caps” limiting the total amount of retail discount available to a ratepayer on all property after 1 July 2021 may require the Council to request additional information from you.
