You can get one third off your business rates bill if you occupy certain retail property with a rateable value of less than £51,000. To be eligible, the property must mainly be used as a shop, restaurant, car sales, petrol station, cafe or drinking establishment.
You’re usually not eligible if your business provides financial services, medical services or professional services like legal advice, estate agency or accounting.

If you have already been awarded the retail discount and the information you are giving us confirms your entitlement, we do not need to send a replacement bill and relief will automatically be awarded again in 2020/21 provided you continue to meet the qualifying criteria.
You have to apply online. There are no paper forms.
