1. Introduction
Starting in September 2015, residents of The Colony, Exmouth and New Feniton took part in a recycling and waste trial. This trial involves them putting out cardboard and mixed plastics as part of their kerbside recycling collection and having their grey wheelie bin collected once every three weeks. We sent a questionnaire to ask them what they thought about the trial.

The questionnaire was sent out in the post to the 1,362 households that are taking part in the recycling and waste trial. 12 were returned by the Post Office as undeliverable. The questionnaire was also available online.
We received 587 completed questionnaires back, 61 online and 526 on paper. This is a response rate of 43%.
