We asked residents and others for their views on East Devon's cultural scene - including everything from our museums and theatres to art galleries.

Respondents had the opportunity to help shape the district’s creative arts for the next decade by taking part in our new culture survey before Sunday, 27 March 2022 by telling us: 

  • What they enjoy about East Devon's cultural offerings?
  • What they would like to see more of?
  • How we can help them get creative. 

This consultation was part of a new cultural strategy EDDC is developing which looks to set out an ambitious, ten-year vision and plan of action for how EDDC can develop and deliver creative activities across East Devon. 

The strategy is being made with the help of consultants Festivals and Events International (FEI).

We received 494 responses, which are now being analysed.
