Background to the consultation

An online questionnaire (which can be accessed by clicking on the Start below) has gone live from Thursday, 23 June for around eight weeks and focuses on the future for Exmouth, looking for views on how various key sites can be improved.

The questions in the consultation have been formed from the responses of members who have identified the themes and characteristics they feel are appropriate for Placemaking in Exmouth.

Members of the Placemaking in Exmouth Town and Seafront Group agreed to consult with stakeholders, the public and visitors to hear their views and to identify and any gaps that exist.

Once we have heard the views, the information will be fed back to the Placemaking in Exmouth Town and Seafront Group. This will help the Council to develop a plan for Exmouth which will be developed via a terms of reference..

After this the Group will make a recommendation to Cabinet so that the position of the Council and the group become aligned and we will then prepare a and publish a plan for Placemaking in Exmouth Town and Seafront – which the public can comment on.
