4. C - Partnership approach
If umbrella Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise Sector support can be put in place within East Devon, we would like to work in partnership with this support to help further develop:
- A clear voice at strategic level for East Devon’s VCSE sector, establishing ways to ensure that organisations are involved in the design and delivery of services and policies.
- The required support for the VCSE sector in East Devon.
- Communication and engagement to advance more lasting partnerships between the VCSE sector and statutory sector including councils, police and fire services, and health commissioners.
- A stronger, more diverse and more independent VCSE sector within East Devon.
