Sid Valley Help

There are over 60 Sid Valley residents who have volunteered various services from dog walking to shopping, collecting meds and chatting on the phone to provide company and connection. If you need help and haven’t received an offer directly from a neighbour or through their postcard scheme:

Sidmouth Hospice at Home

Tailored care and support for people in the Sid Valley diagnosed as palliative, and their carers and families. Commissioning and funding specialist nursing from the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. Volunteer support: driving (e.g. medical appointments and shopping), befriending, bereavement support. Organising and signposting to wider support as required. Roman Catholic Church, Sidmouth

Sidmouth Voluntary Services

They're offering:

  • Delivery of a hot 3 course meal to elderly residents Monday - Friday.
  • Lunch club providing a 3 course meal for elderly clients at Twyford House.
  • Transport to medical appointments for clients living in the Sidmouth area.
  • Morning Coffees Monday-Friday at Twyford House. Activity sessions take place on Friday mornings eg bingo, colouring
