Stay at home
Communities across Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly are being asked to keep up the good work in stopping the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus).
Local authorities, NHS services, police, fire, utilities and voluntary and community sector organisations, under the banner of the Local Resilience Forum (LRF), are speaking with one voice to say, ‘don’t let down your guard just yet’ and have issued a joint open letter.

Find your community contact
The community contact pages now has a postcode finder, allowing residents who don't know their parish to locate who the community contact is for their area.
East Devon is required to undertake these by law to each property that has a gas connection on an annual basis. This is part of important health and safety work we do and ensures the safety of our residents.
In response to Covid-19, the Government have not in any way lessened this area of Legislation and as it stands we are still required to undertake these checks, we of course are applying social distancing and appropriate PPE as required.
More information can be found on our Housing repairs pages.
Recycling and Waste
Remember: Collections of recycling and refuse will be one day later this week due to the Bank Holiday. See our Recycling pages for further updates.
