12. Finally some good news...

Children in East Devon are enjoying a free Easter Egg this weekend and East Devon District Council smoothed the way for it to happen.

Crealy Theme Park in East Devon - closed due to coronavirus - couldn’t hold its Easter Egg hunt which they run in conjunction with Radio Exe and we were asked if we could find a home for 240 chocolate eggs. Paul Cater and Kieran Grant from our Streetscene team picked them up and took them to Exmouth Community Larder Foodbank.  We’ve had a call from the Larder this morning to say they were absolutely delighted to receive the Easter eggs and they were being distributed to children today who are particularly having a tough time at the moment. They wanted to extend a big thank you to all involved and wish everybody a happy Easter.
