10. Wild East Devon update

Families can now enjoy a new wildlife-themed sculpture trail at Seaton Wetlands, featuring 11 natural sculptures spread around the nature reserve.

Funded by Tesco’s Bags of Help, all of the sculptures have been made by craftsmen out of natural materials. Coates Willow created seven of the sculptures by weaving willow to form intricate wildlife sculptures. The four wooden sculptures were made by Greenspace Design, a local team who specialise in detailed timber carvings.

The Wild East Devon team have carefully chosen to install the sculptures at locations that won’t disturb the resident wildlife. The trail starts near the car park and follows the main path, past Black Hole Marsh and around Stafford Marsh.
