2. New rules require you to self-isolate if you test positive for Coronavirus
From Monday 28 September people across England are required by law to self-isolate if they test positive or are contacted by NHS Test and Trace.
If you need to self-isolate you must stay inside your home until you’re no longer at risk of passing the virus on.
That means no trips to the shops, no walks in the park and no meeting up with friends. Financial assistance is available for those who face financial difficulty as a result of an instruction to self-isolate.
