Four more public toilets will reopen in East Devon following the easing of Coronavirus restrictions

  • Cliff Path (West End, Steamer Steps), Budleigh Salterton
  • Magnolia Centre, Exmouth
  • Phear Park, Exmouth
  • Market Place, Sidmouth

COVID-19 alert level drops from four to three

The Joint Biosecurity Centre has recommended that the COVID-19 alert level should move from Level 4* to Level 3**.

The CMOs for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have reviewed the evidence and agree with this recommendation to move to Level 3 across the UK. 

*A COVID-19 epidemic is in general circulation; transmission is high or rising exponentially

High street shops, department stores and shopping centres to reopen 

Shops in England selling non-essential goods will be able to reopen from today, Monday 15 June. Full guidance on this can be found on the GOV.UK website.
