2. Changes to the Lockdown rules from this weekend

This weekend and from next week we will see a number of the rules we have been following since late March relaxed. These changes will be a gradual and cautious process by the Government who have stressed that it remains important that we all Stay Alert, continue social distancing and to wear a face covering when using public transport.

From Saturday, single adult households in England - so adults living alone, or single parents with children under 18 - are able to form a support bubble with one other household. All those in the bubble will be able to act as if they live in the same household.

On Monday a number of non-essential retail shops can reopen as long as they are COVID-19 secure. To find out more about the 5 tests that need to be completed, visit the website.

Places of Worship will be permitted to re-open for individual prayer in line with social distancing guidelines.
