1. Introduction

This policy sets out the local procedure for dealing with complaints that a Councillor (Member) has failed to comply with the Code of Conduct. It has been adopted by the Council for this purpose. 

Both the Member’s Code of Conduct and this standards procedure will be subject to regular review.
