Halloween Trail at Seaton Wetlands:

Visit Seaton Wetlands to take part in the self-guided special spooky trail! Explore the wetlands to learn about curious creatures such as the Death's Head Hawkmoth, Beastly Bats, Scary Spiders and Ominous Owls! Fill in your grid to receive a special prize including a badge, pencil and goodies from our friends at Seaton Sweets & Treats!

Trail is available from the Lookout at Seaton Wetlands from 19 Oct to 1 Nov. £3 per trail to include prizes.

Please note: trail is available on the day for cash only. To pay by card, book a place for each trail using the event link on the right hand side of this page and bring your email confirmation with you, either printed out or on your phone.

 

Bird Box Making at Exmouth: Now fully booked

A fun-packed hour of exploring, discovering wildlife and getting creative in the spectacular setting of Phear Park in Exmouth with our partners at Thelma Hulbert Gallery and Wild Exmouth.

Join the Wild East Devon, THG & Wild Exmouth Rangers for an hour session of making bird nest boxes for your garden.

The rangers will help you to make a bird nest box to attract nesting birds to your garden this spring, putting it together using a hammer and nails.

 

 

Family Activity Sessions at Seaton Wetlands: Now fully booked

Join the Wild East Devon Education Rangers for a fun-packed hour of stream activities, campfire cooking or natural crafts. We'll be exploring, discovering wildlife and getting creative in the spectacular setting of Seaton Wetlands Nature Reserve. 

  • On Tuesday we will be exploring natural craft activities to give an opportunity for families to work and play together and learn outdoor skills.
  • On Thursday we will go stream dipping, getting right into the water to find out about the creatures that we find and learn all about the wildlife that lives under the water.

With a highly qualified and experienced Rangers leading the session, your family will have great fun as well as learn all about the fascinating variety of wildlife that call the wetlands home.
