The information on these pages provides a mechanism for monitoring and prioritising health and wellbeing issues and reducing health inequalities across our district.  We use the information to guide our public health work with colleagues within the council, at Devon County Council and other organisations.

Knowing East Devon: Includes information and data about the people, place and economy of East Devon, helping us to understand and support our communities.

Devon Health and Wellbeing: Information on Devon’s Health and Wellbeing Board, Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy, Annual Public Health Reports, Joint Strategic Needs Assessments and a library of strategies, plans, needs assessments and other reports and information relevant to health and wellbeing in Devon.

Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA): Looks at the current and future health and care needs of local populations to inform and guide the planning and commissioning (buying) of health, wellbeing and social care services within a local authority. Devon's overview provides a summary of health and wellbeing needs across the Devon County Council area. It contains a range of information about health and the factors that influence the health of the population. The JSNA Headline tool is an interactive resource which looks at health and wellbeing across the life course for many different areas across Devon.

Devon Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy: sets priorities and overall direction for the Devon Health and Wellbeing Board and local health, care and wellbeing organisations.

Devon Annual Public Health Reports: each year these reports on the health of the people of Devon consider different aspects in relation to health and wellbeing, and the role of public sector bodies with a responsibility for health and care systems.
