Lord Clinton's Charitable Trust
Lord Clinton's Charitable Trust has grants available from £50- £1,000 to registered charities to help them support young people and disabled people within North and East Devon, for example, local playgroups. The Prince’s Trust
Funding is available from The Prince's Trust to young people aged between 14 and 25 for a wide variety of things such as improving youth facilities or setting up sex education workshops in schools. The maximum grant is £5,000. Young people themselves must apply for the funding.
Tesco Bags of Help
Tesco Bags of Help has grants available for charities and not for profit organisations. They can fund projects such as:
- Equipment or non statutory services for nurseries or schools. For example forest schools, library books
- Equipment for Brownie, Guide or Scout Groups e.g. camping equipment, badges
- Environmental improvements
- Play areas
- Counselling and support services
- Activities to support mental health
- Activities or equipment to reduce social isolation
- Equipment/kit for sports teams
- Services or equipment to support health issues such as cancer or dementia
- Equipment for village/community halls
The Garfield Weston Foundation
Grants are available from The Garfield Weston Foundation of between £3,000 and £1million. They support a wide variety of good causes including: education, the arts, welfare, youth, community, environment, mental health, health, religion (especially church restoration) and others. Youth Music
Youth Music often has funding available for youth music projects.
The Lefevre Trust
The Lefevre Trust has funding of up to £10,000 available to support innovative projects between young people in France and the UK. It enables young people to visit each other and work together. All groups are eligible to apply.
Youth in Action
Funding is available to help young people to discover Europe from Youth in Action. This includes Youth Exchanges, Youth Initiatives and Youth Democracy Projects, European Voluntary Service, Youth in the World and Youth Support Systems. For more information phone 0116 242 7400.
The Wessex Youth Trust
The Wessex Youth Trust has grants available (average of £2,500 to £5,000) for projects that help support and advance young people. Registered charities and self-help groups with charitable aims that work with young people are eligible. To find out more call 01508 571230.
The Rowing Foundation
The Rowing Foundation has funding available (between £500 to £3,000) to aid and support young people (under 18 or still in full time education) and the disabled of all ages through participation in sport and games, particularly water sports. The Prince’s Trust Business Programme
The Prince's Trust Business Programme has low interest loans available of up to £4,000 for young people who want to start their own business. The young people must be 18- 30, unemployed or working less than 16 hours a week. As well as the loan there is free business support and access to a wide range of products and service.
