Parishes Together Funding 2017 / 2018

Parishes Together Funding is the sum of £1.10 per elector in each parish that is put by EDDC and Devon County Council into a pot that the parishes can then apply for. Parishes have to work together to apply for the funding. The EDDC New Homes Bonus Panel regularly meets to decide on the applications. The following table is a list of funding that has been approved by the New Homes Bonus Panel in 2017/ 2018, this totals £102,125.90 which will be spent on community projects. This was £99,671.80 from the 2017/2018 allocation and £2,454.10 of the underspend. This leaves an underspend of £22,261.

There was £124,386.90 available in the Parishes Together Fund from 2017/2018. All monies leftover from previous years are kept and the New Homes Bonus Panel could distribute in future years to particularly worthy projects that need an extra bit of funding.

All the leftover funding from this and previous years will be transferred into and distributed using the new Communities Together Fund.
