Information Is there any funding available to help develop affordable housing?

In  the current economic climate it is unlikely that funding is available for providing affordable housing. In the past funding has taken the form of grant to housing associations, local councils or private developers (if registered with the Homes and Communities Agency). 

It might be seen as prudent to proceed (on most sites) on an assumption that there is no public subsidy or funding available.
