Community Hubs

Seven of our community centres will be continuing to open their doors from the beginning of April as part of the nationwide response to the cost of living crisis. Following on from the success of the EDDC Warm Hubs over the winter, tenants requested that we keep the centres open as a space to socialise, make new friends, receive information on council services and attend learning workshops.

In the centres we also provide free hot drinks, snacks, daily papers, magazines and games. You will also be able to pick up information and attend monthly workshops. We welcome all ideas and help to make each space even more inviting and welcoming.

Community volunteers, wanting to support their local warm hub, are welcome to come along and join the team of existing trained volunteers.  Come and be part of shaping your centre into something your community will want to come to.

Please see timetable below. We can organise transport for you if you need. Please contact project officer Lucinda Cliff 07816 533803 or 01395 517453 email tenantparticipation@eastdevon.gov.uk
