This group of tenants has been set up to provide support and advice to other tenants who are dis-satisfied with the service they have received from East Devon District Council in their role as a landlord.  They receive appropriate training and work independently to support their fellow tenants to resolve their issues. Where this is not possible they will, where appropriate, also provide support to help others pursue their complaints through the formal channels.

They also review formal housing complaints that have been received, looking at whether they have been dealt with correctly and appropriately. They make recommendations for changes to the complaints handling process based upon their findings.
