Update 19th July 2021

Supporting vulnerable tenants who live in our sheltered accommodation is a priority area for us and we will continue to offer support throughout the period of the Coronavirus epidemic. Increased levels of contact will be made by telephone with our tenants by mobile support officers. To protect our customers and Mobile Support Officers, we are not currently visiting tenants in their homes, but we are visiting on doorsteps to maintain a face to face contact. We are also offering appointments in community centres across the district if anything more private needs to be addressed that cannot be done on the doorstep.

We are still able to be a friendly voice on the end of the phone and offer advice on how to stay safe and healthy at home and maintain physical and mental wellbeing at this difficult time.  Where we are not able to assist directly we will signpost tenants to local groups and services who can.

Repairs

At present the Government has advised that tradespeople can continue to work in people’s homes as long as they adhere to the strict Government Guidelines. We have a statutory duty to carry out the gas servicing in your home to ensure your gas appliances are safe therefore please allow access, if you have any concerns about this, please contact our Repair Line.
