East Devon's Mobile Support Officers are increasing their contact with tenants of our sheltered housing during the Coronavirus epidemic. 

Supporting vulnerable tenants who live in our sheltered accommodation is a priority area for us and we will continue to offer support throughout the period of the Coronavirus epidemic.


To protect our customers and Mobile Support Officers we are not currently visiting tenants in their homes unless this is absolutely necessary, but to make up for this we are contacting them by telephone more frequently than we would normally. 


We are still able to be a friendly voice on the end of the phone and offer advice on how to stay safe and healthy at home and maintain physical and mental wellbeing at this difficult time.  Where we are not able to assist directly we will signpost tenants to local groups and services who can. 


It will be important to keep active mentally and physically over the coming weeks while most of us are confined to our home; follow us on Twitter or Facebook where we are posting ideas for keeping busy and you can take part in online activities if you are digitally inclined.
