2. Other useful information
We are part of the ‘Tell Us Once’ service. This allows you to report a death to several government departments, agencies and the local authority in one contact.
You must register the death first. The Registry Office will ask if you wish to use the ‘Tell Us Once’ service and if you do they will notify the agencies for you.
Many agencies produce information about what to do when someone dies. You may find the Age UK leaflet ‘When someone dies: a step by step guide to what to do’ useful.
