As we start to come out of lockdown we will be gradually returning our reactive repairs service to full operations through six phases. These phases are set out below.

Please note that our progress through this plan rely to some extent on decisions made on a national level relating to the easing of lockdown and restrictions that relate to it. This means that we may need to go back a phase should restrictions increase.

We are currently at Stage 3 of the plan

Our Six Phase Recovery Plan

Phase 1: Emergency and Essential Repairs only

We will only carry out emergency and essential repairs.

Phase 2: Current repairs being carried out

We have now gone through the backlog of outstanding repairs and identified which of these can be safely carried out. Emergency and Essential repairs will continue to be carried out.

Phase 3: Backlog repairs being carried out

Repairs to general rented properties that were put on hold during the pandemic will now begin to be carried out, along with Emergency and Essential Repairs.

Phase 4: New repairs being carried out

We will carry out all new internal repairs that are not urgent in nature to general needs properties alongside Emergency and Essential Repairs.

Phase 5: External repairs being carried out

We will carry out non-urgent external and communal repairs in addition to internal repairs to general needs properties, Emergency and Essential repairs will continue to be carried out.

Phase 6: Repairs for residents who are shielding/self-isolating or in vulnerable groups and sheltered housing

These repairs will be done on a case by case basis and will work closely with all residents in these groups to identify a safe time to carry out these works.
