We recognise that Council tenants, along with other registered social landlord tenants can lack options should they wish to move to a different area either within the district or outside of the East Devon area.

Carrying out a mutual exchange can be a good way for tenants to achieve this move, and we have produced a Mutual Exchange Policy to provide a framework to ensure that such moves can be carried out efficiently and in line with legal requirements.
