As a landlord we have a legal obligation under health and safety legislation and we need to hold a register of asbestos in our properties. We will make this register available to interested parties with reasonable notice.
We carry out surveys to identify the location and type of asbestos present in our properties and we have drawn up a management plan to deal with it.
We do not normally remove asbestos unless it is damaged, or liable to become damaged, or disturbed in the normal use of the property. This is in line with health and safety guidance.
