3. Exemptions
If all of the tickets are sold at an event, that may last more than a single day, this is know as an incidental lottery. You do not need to hold a Small Society Lottery Registration with us to hold and an incidental lottery.
You can only run an incidental lottery to raise money for charity, not for private gain. The types of events where an incidental lottery can be held are:
- fetes
- fairs
- fundraising dinners
- festivals
