East Devon District Council (EDDC) is inviting residents to participate in a crucial consultation process aimed at shaping the future Council Plan.

The Council Plan outlines a roadmap for the work of EDDC over the next 4 years and covers the key priorities of the council: better homes and communities for all; a greener East Devon; a resilient economy; and quality service delivery. Residents can choose to comment on all four priorities or just the priority that interests them.

The consultation will give residents the chance to have their say and ensure the new EDDC Council Plan best reflects the views of its local people.

Councillor John Loudoun, East Devon District Council’s portfolio holder for Council and Corporate Co-ordination said:

“The consultation on the EDDC Council Plan is available online through the council’s consultation website: https://eastdevoncouncilplan.commonplace.is/

The consultation period will run until Friday 18 January 2024 providing ample time for the community to submit their feedback. EDDC is committed listening to what our residents feel is important to them so that we can reflect this in the final Council Plan.

The council looks forward to a robust and collaborative engagement with the local community during this critical phase of the council plan’s development.”
