Terms being finalised for Exmouth watersports centre

Watersports centre for Exmouth seafront

East Devon District Council and Grenadier are due to sign the final part of the agreement for a new watersports centre for Exmouth which will include a cafe and restaurant, public parking, communal space and a new ramp giving direct access to the beach. Read more

Nominations open for elections

Nomination packs for those wishing to stand for election on the district, town and parish councils on Thursday 2nd May are now available to prospective candidates. And this year there will be two count centres for the elections – one at Blackdown House in Honiton and the other at the Town Hall in Exmouth. Read more

But now, in partnership with Crowdfunder and other local authorities from across Devon, they’ve launched Crowdfund Devon. Read more

£5 annual Council Tax increase

In line with many other councils across the country, East Devon District Council has agreed to a Council Tax increase. This amounts to a £5 annual increase for an average Band D property for 2019/20 and ensures it continues to secure crucial front line services for its residents and businesses. Read more
