 Low income families in East Devon could benefit by an estimated £270,000 in extra support towards paying their council tax in a scheme which is being consulted on from until 10 November 2019. We want to know what you think about these proposed changes so please complete the online questionnaire.

Sidmouth Beach Management Scheme funding gap urgently needs to be filled
Partnership funding of £1.5m for the beach management scheme is a critical element in accessing government grants and needs to be in place by August 2020 if the scheme is to go ahead. If funding cannot be found locally an alternative plan, involving only the town frontage, will be worked up and submitted for approval. Read more
