Applications are now open.
Applications for a pitch on the seafront Promenade in Sidmouth, during the Folk Festival, will be accepted from 9am on Monday 15 April 2024. Any applications received before this date will be disregarded.
Please make sure you read the important information before you apply.
The application form can be found below. You can provide your own risk assessment or you may use our template. You will need to submit these, along side a picture of your stall structure and a copy of your Public Liability Insurance, which must be for a minimum of £5 million. Please submit this to sfftraders@eastdevon.gov.uk
The items proposed for sale must be specified within the application. Items of food, drink or other consumables will not be permitted.
There will be a maximum of 45 pitches available, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
- Applications close on Wednesday 24 April 2024
- Successful applicants will be contacted on Thursday 16 May 2024
- Pitches will be confirmed on Monday 15 July 2024
- Full payment will be needed by Monday 22 July 2024 @ 9am
The cost is £386 per trader, for the week. This is calculated at £43 per day for 8 days + £42 administration charge. An invoice will be raised once we have confirmed you have been successful. This must be paid in full by 9am on Friday 31 July 2023.
If your business is registered in East Devon the fees & charges are 1 x admin fee of £44 plus VAT, this will be invoiced to you once we received your application. If you are successful, the land hire fee is £360, this will be invoiced to you once we have confirmed you are successful.
If your business is not registered in East Devon, the fees 7 charges are 1 x admin fee of £44 plus VAT, this will be invoiced to you once we receive your application. If you are successful, the land hire fee is £1043, this will be invoiced to you once we have confirmed you are successful.
