15. Dalwood

Examination

The Dalwood Neighbourhood Plan has now been examined.  The appointed independent examiner was Jill Kingaby.  The conclusions of the examination are that, subject to a number of amendments, the Plan meets the necessary 'Basic Conditions' and can proceed to referendum.  The Examiner's Final Report is now available to view.

In undertaking the examination, the Examiner considered a full set of Plan documentation, including all responses received to the Submission consultation (see under Submission heading below).  In addition, consideration was given to a response from the Parish Council and District Council to questions posed by the Examiner.

East Devon District Council, at a forthcoming Cabinet meeting (anticipated 1 December 2021), will now consider the recommendations made by the Examiner and decide what action to take.  This will include whether we agree that the Plan, with amendments, can go forward to the next stage of referendum.  The Cabinet Report and the associated Decision Notice will be published here in due course.

More information about the Dalwood Neighbourhood Plan and Plan Area is also available on the Dalwood Parish Council website
