To find out the protected status of a tree, please click on the trees location in the above map for the details of its protected status.
Note: Areas marked with green circles (O) indicate individually protected trees, green shapes show areas where multiple trees are protected. The yellow dashed line (---) indicates the boundary of a conservation area. Within a conservation area any tree with a trunk diameter over 7.5 cm, when measured at 1.5 metres above the ground level will be protected.
Important: Please note that this is the current status of the trees. We cannot guarantee that this will always be the case as the regulations only allow us to protect trees which are likely to be at risk of being cut down or pruned in a way that will have a significant impact on the amenity of the area.
